Terrace Central Surgery delivers healthcare services to patients living in Port Stephens and its surrounds, including Beresfield, Heatherbrae, Medowie, Karuah, Seaham, Maitland, Morpeth, Williamtown and Tomago.
Established in 1993, Terrace Central Surgery has traded under two different names, William St Family Practice & Sturgeon Street Surgery. Recognising the community’s need for access to a GP, a new larger site was eventually needed to accommodate extra doctors.
We use the very latest in record-keeping technology, so even if you forget to follow up on a particular issue, we won’t.
Located in Raymond Terrace, Terrace Central Surgery provides a full range of healthcare services within our newly re-furbished, state of the art facility.

Dr Guy Streeter-Smith
Principal GP
Dr Streeter-Smith has more than 16 years of experience as a GP. He has a special interest in family medicine, chronic disease management, Indigenous health and mental health.

Dr Chan is a GP Registrar, with a special interest in Skin Cancer management.
Dr Joseph M. Waelchli
General Practitioner
After becoming a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with honours from the University of Manchester, he was subsequently admitted into both the English and Australian Royal colleges of General Practitioners.
